The Community Development Authority continues its plan to support people of determination and empower them in society by launching various initiatives and events which aim to highlight their skills, talents, and potential, which contributes to enhancing their role in all sectors of society. As part of its social responsibility initiatives, the Community Development Authority collaborated with Warner’s Bros. Discovery’s Arabic Cooking Channel Fatafeat, for the second time to shed light on this important group society in a new and innovative way, given the success achieved by the previous collaboration last year. This humanitarian partnership with Fatafeat also contributes to creating new opportunities for people of determination by empowering them and involving them in various roles commensurate with their capabilities, qualifications, and circumstances.

Kholoud Al Sharaf, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at the Community Development Authority, expressed her happiness with this partnership, saying: “Our collaboration with Fatafeat, the famous Arabic cooking channel, contributes to highlighting the rights of people of determination and the importance of the private sector contribution and the local community in empowering and integrating them and raising awareness of the social issues that affect them. We have seen the impact of this cooperation in previous campaigns through a significant turnout for following the social media stories that deal with the issues and stories of this important segment and show the great opportunities that await them to be active people and positive contributors in life and society.”

On the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day, people of determination were involved in the activities and training organized by the Community Development Authority in Dubai and Fatafeat, where details will be shared with the public through video clips that will be shared on the official social media platforms of both the Authority and Fatafeat.
