The Dubai Mall is celebrating the ‘Festival of Lights’ with a series of events filled with colours, light and entertainment.

The first is a unique floating art installation called ‘Voyage’, featuring a fleet of 300 illuminated boats which creates a magical landscape on Burj Lake. On display until December 2^nd, Voyage is created by the multi-disciplinary art & design studio Aether & Hemera and forms part of the Art Emaar initiative, which aims to bring art to the wider community.

The fleet of boats composes an organic matrix of lights that uses the water as a canvas for drawing ever-changing coloured lighting effects to create an imaginative and immersive magical landscape. Enjoyed from the mall’s Waterfront Promenade, guests can connect to the ‘Voyage WIFI’ and interact with this installation, changing patterns and colours to create an ever-changing landscape.

In addition, guests can get a sneak peek of the Jaan-e-Jigar, the spectacular Broadway-style Bollywood musical from Bollywood Parks Dubai with live shows on the Waterfront Promenade near Voyage on November 7th at 6:15pm, 7:45pm, 8:45pm, 9:45pm & 10:45pm and November 8^th & 9^th at 6:20pm, 7:20pm, 8:20pm, 9:20pm and 10:20pm.

The Dubai Fountains will also have two exclusive shows for Diwali, choreographed to the Bollywood classic ‘Dhoom Taana’ from November 7^th-11^th at 2:00pm and 8:00pm daily.

This month, The Dubai Mall is hosting a one month extravaganza for their 10 Year Celebrations under the key themes of ’10 Years of Entertainment, Fashion, Shopping and Giving’. From November 4^th – 28^th guests can enjoy a fascinating array of activities and events. From extravagant fashion events in partnership with Vogue Arabia, chances to win an Emaar Apartment, daily surprises plus much more, The Dubai Mall will be buzzing with stellar activities throughout the month.
