The Odd Piece, an eclectic – vintage furniture store located at Alserkal Avenue is bringing together four unique and ethical slow fashion brands- Muzungu Sisters, Sunflowers, Nasiba Hafiz and Sarah’s Bag- to set up a pre-Ramadan Pop-Up Shop on March 8th, 2022. The pop-up will showcase a collection of artisanal pieces set to transport the clientele into the magic of the regions’ traditions and culture.

With the summer collection focused on Ramadan, the group pop up invites all ethical fashion enthusiasts to come and celebrate the uniqueness of art and craft through the authenticity to tradition. All participating brands offer sustainably sourced, uniquely hand-crafted pieces that will aid in raising awareness for the significance of ethical slow fashion in the industry.

Muzungu Sisters, a brand offering sustainable and hand-made luxury products is all set to display their latest limited-edition collection carefully curated-for-women and including beautiful and modest summer dresses, trousers, and blouses.

Sunflowers, curated by Tanya Scaff prides itself as a one-stop-shop for elegant fashion and accessories, featuring hand-made kaftans, dresses, and skirts with mother-daughter matching sets.

Nasiba Hafiz, named after the visionary designer hailing from Saudi Arabia, features innovative designs and fabulous outfits inspired by the vivacious designers’ favourite musicals, plays and Egyptian film muses. With colour variants representing the greatest trends in fashion from the 1950’s, 1960’s and 1970’s, Nasiba Hafiz is all set to bring her unwavering love for fashion to The Odd Piece.

Sarah’s Bag by Sarah Beydoun will be completing the incredible collection at the pop-up with bags that represent its vision: to fashionably empower women. Having begun its journey through the inspiration by underprivileged women in Lebanon using the opportunity to craft, stitch, bead and embroider their way to an empowered life – with the purpose and financial independence. Sarah’s Bag has proven that a worthy cause can come in a beautiful design and bring pride to the women of today and their journey to empowerment.

Last but not least, founder of The Odd Piece Arwa Hafiza and Nilou Youssef will be launching their exclusive collection of handcrafted table napkins and placemats especially crafted for the occasion and bringing in the spirit of tradition paired with elegance and style .

The pop-up will be open to all on March 8th, 2022, from 10AM to 10PM at The Odd Piece, Alserkal Avenue.
