The Prices of Food and Beverages in Dubai Rises by 0.55% in the Second Week of Ramadan 1442 A.H.
The report issued by the Dubai Statistics Center (DSC) revealed that the Consumers Price Index of Food and Beverages hit a rise by 0.55% in the second week of Ramadan 1442 A.H. compared with the first week of the Holy Month as a result of the increase of Vegetables by 4.19%, Fruits by 2.22%, Products N.E.C. by 1.00%, Oils and Fats by 0.53%, Meat by 0.32%, Milk Cheese and Eggs by 0.25, Bread and Cereals by 0.02%.
Whereas the prices of the following sectors declined: Fish and Seafood decreased by 4.74%, and Tea, Coffee and Cocoa decreased by 1.45%.
Meanwhile, the Sugar, Jam, Honey, Chocolate, and Confectionery, and Mineral Waters, Soft Drinks, and Juices remained stabilized at their previous proportions.
