It’s been a very successful journey for the Spinneys Dubai 92 Challenge, powered by ŠKODA as cyclists took on the last Build-Up Ride (85km) at Al Qudra this morning as part of the popular Dubai Fitness Challenge and it’s just four weeks until cyclists compete in the ultimate final 100km race, part of the UCI Gran Fondo Series, which will be held at the Dubai Autodrome on Friday, 29^th November.

This morning’s ride witnessed the highest number of participant’s taking on the final Build-Up Ride with many cyclists commenting that the challenge has helped with their fitness as well as their confidence on the bike.

All cyclists, families and spectators were delighted to find the Spinneys Village filled with fun activities hosted by SKODA and Fitness First, with something fun for everyone! Spinneys Dubai, as always, provided a number of breakfast options which ranged from chicken and beef rolls to falafel wraps to smoothies and scrumptious healthy treats. There was also plenty of water and sports drinks for the cyclists to refresh themselves and hydrate after the 85km race.

ŠKODA, the Automotive Race Partner launched its ‘Golden Key’ competition this morning, whereby some cyclists found a Golden Key in their race pack and are now automatically entered in a competition to win a ŠKODA car for a year. There’s still time to be a winner, more keys will be given at the main event on 29^th November with the winner being announced on the same day.  Time to sign up so you can be in with a chance of winning this great prize!

In an initiative to promote the sport of cycling and increase the interest of younger children, The Prime Medical Center Junior Rides will take place on 28 November at the Dubai Autodrome. The Junior Rides are for all children between the ages of 6-15 years and have been divided into three different categories (2.5km, 15km and 30km).

For all cyclists without a bike / helmet, who wish to register in the final 100km challenge, there are plenty of rental options mentioned in the registration process. Additionally, the team from Revolution Cycles Dubai will be on-site as always to ensure that all participants have their gear before the ride and will also offer assistance to all those who need a little extra something on the race day.
