Time Out Market Dubai is thrilled to announce that its upcoming two-year anniversary celebrations will be taking place from April 28th to 30th. There will be three days of entertainment and activities for the whole family, including live music, kids’ activations, and DJ performances. As part of the anniversary celebrations, Time Out Market Dubai will also welcome on April 28th à la grecque, a new concession.

à la grecque: a taste of Athens in the heart of Dubai

à la grecque is a new concept created specifically and exclusively for Time Out Market Dubai by Chef Athanasios Kargatzidis, also known as Chef Tommy – a major chef personality in the Middle Eastern food scene thanks to his innovative Mediterranean cuisine and numerous accolades, including 16th at the MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants. In 2021, Chef Tommy brought his much-loved Beirut restaurant Baron as a pop-up to Dubai for Expo 2020 with great success. At Time Out Market Dubai, à la grecque will offer a unique, rich and delicious taste of Greece through Chef Tommy’s authentic recipes and fresh ingredients – it is the first time that he presents a concept dedicated to the country in which he was born. à la grecque is French for “Greek style”, describing a way of cooking with Greek ingredients such as olive oil, lemons and herbs and reflected in the menu which will include Greek classics such as traditional Souvlaki Wraps, Tarama, Moussaka and more – a kitchen that celebrates the good life, where friends and family gather around tables to enjoy food, laughter and clinking glasses.

2nd anniversary celebrations at Time Out Market Dubai

Time Out Market Dubai’s 2nd anniversary celebrations will include special events and activities scheduled across three days from April 28th and 30th. Each day will have its own specific entertainment, including artist performances, a variety of kids’ activities, and electrifying performances by DJ Akmaral who is known to captivate audiences at some of the most prestigious and sought-after venues in the UAE. In addition, there will also be a balloon distribution throughout the three-day event to add an extra festive feeling. The full line-up of anniversary celebrations includes:

Friday 28th April:

• 2pm – 5pm: Live Music with Carl Lafrenais (Lead singer/songwriter for the leading original band CNRMAFIA, Creative head for CLUB FM 99.6 and one of Time Out Dubai’s Best Original Bands in the UAE)
• 8pm – 12am: DJ Akmaral

Saturday 29th April:

• 1pm – 3pm: Kids’ activities
• 2pm – 5pm: Live Music with Dan Moores (Singer and guitarist hailing from the UK, whose musical journey has taken him to the vibrant city of Dubai)
