A? News clip? Gulf News says that UAE middle easts becomes most “Wired Region”. Middle East ICT Market Analysis report points to Dubai’s Internet City, free trade zones and heavy IT investments as major boosters.

The report predicts that the UAE ICT industry will become a regional ICT hub worth $2.4 billion by 2011.

The upsurge in the demand for ICT products in the country has mainly been led by the rising number of retail outlets by national as well as global brands.

The report added that the huge cost benefit and high investment potential in the ICT industry are also making the UAE a favourable destination for IT outsourcing.
