My friend and I are planning a trip to Dubai soon and I wanted to know if using a tour or just winging it, which would be better and cheaper. I hate looking like a tourist, I’d rather take in the city on my own and meet the native people. Any thoughts?

Hi,
Dubai is easy to get around although i would suggest booking at least one organized tour through arabian adventures or similar. I have an aprtment for rent if you need luxury accomodation at affordable prices. See http://www.staydubai.co.uk
