Vogue Arabia Announces Its Inaugural Vogue Arabia Ball: Art Edition
Vogue Arabia announces the launch of the Vogue Arabia Ball, a new annual celebration under Condé Nast Middle East’s owned-and-operated portfolio. Each edition will have its own distinct theme and creative vision, reinforcing Vogue Arabia’s commitment to the region’s creative community and its ambition to bring exciting live experiences to Dubai and beyond. The city’s diverse creative landscape and strong connection to the wider region make it an ideal starting point for a new annual celebration that will evolve and travel to different cities across the region in future editions.
The inaugural Vogue Arabia Ball: Art Edition will celebrate art through the female gaze, placing creativity and the perspectives of women at the heart of the evening. The theme will reflect art’s ability to bring people together, fostering a sense of belonging, pride and optimism.
The private Ball will welcome opinion leaders, celebrities, royalty and top executives from luxury brands from across the region and internationally, alongside leading figures from the worlds of art, fashion, entertainment and culture, and will be held at Forum Ballroom at Delano Dubai in Bluewaters on Friday, 13 November 2026.
With a Black Tie Art-Inspired dress code that gives priority to Arab designers, this year’s edition will feature a high-profile art-inspired red carpet, immersive artistic experiences, a curated dinner and an evening of live entertainment, culminating in a performance by a leading regional superstar, whose identity will be revealed closer to the celebration. Beyond the celebration, Vogue Arabia Ball: Art Edition will also champion access to arts education.
Celebrating Art Through the Female Gaze
At the heart of Vogue Arabia Ball: Art Edition is a celebration of art through the female gaze, spotlighting the voices and perspectives of women shaping the region’s creative scene.
In support of the arts and female empowerment, Vogue Arabia is collaborating with two leading Emirati artists whose work will be integrated into the Ball, placing art at the heart of the evening. Shaikha Al Mazrou, one of the UAE’s leading contemporary artists, is internationally recognised for her bold sculptural work exploring form, material, colour and space, while Dhabia Al Qubaisi, an emerging Emirati voice in contemporary art, works
across painting, mixed media and textiles, creating evocative works rooted in memory, presence and lived experience. Together, their distinct artistic visions will come to life throughout the Vogue Arabia Ball: Art Edition.
A Celebration of Creativity With a Purpose
Beyond celebrating established and emerging creative voices, the Vogue Arabia Ball: Art Edition will also champion access to arts education, reflecting Vogue Arabia’s commitment to supporting the next generation of creative talent. As part of the initiative, Vogue Arabia is collaborating with Art House Education Dubai to create opportunities for aspiring creatives to develop their skills, engage with the arts and advance their creative journeys without the
associated cost. Further details about the initiative, including how to participate and the opportunities available, will be announced soon across Vogue Arabia’s platforms including Instagram.
Manuel Arnaut, Head of Editorial Content, Vogue Arabia, said: “I am very excited to see the Vogue Arabia Ball: Art Edition come to life, as this art-focused edition brings together an exceptional mix of regional and international figures from fashion, art and entertainment at a time when the UAE’s cultural landscape is flourishing, with new museums opening and major art fairs. After a moment of instability, we are proud to host this event in the UAE, in a clear message of optimism and energy, proving Dubai is still a global creative hub. For us, it is equally important that the Ball looks to the future by opening doors for emerging talent and expanding access to arts education, a commitment I am particularly proud to have woven into this first edition.”
Thomas Khoury, Managing Director, Condé Nast Middle East, said: The Vogue Arabia Ball marks an important new chapter for Vogue Arabia and Condé Nast Middle East, representing a significant investment in the growth of the brand and in the region’s wider cultural and creative economy. Establishing an annual platform of this scale creates new opportunities to bring together audiences, partners and creative talent, while extending Vogue Arabia’s influence into the cultural landscape. As the Ball evolves with each edition, it will create new opportunities for collaboration, partnership and creative exchange, reflecting the continued growth and ambition of the region.”
The Ball will also mark the reveal of the winner of the Creators of Craft Design Challenge, celebrating emerging design talent and creative expression from the region. The design challenge invited creatives across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon and Egypt to reimagine regional craft heritage through contemporary design. Five finalists from Lebanon, the UAE and Egypt developed prototypes of their concepts, with the winner receiving a commissioned collaboration opportunity, a paid trip to Milan Design Week, a Vogue Arabia print feature and exclusive masterclasses led by leading visionaries including Nadine Kanso, Stefano Seletti and Natasha Carella.
Further details, including the participating artists, education initiative, live performance and additional Vogue Arabia Ball experiences, will be revealed in the lead-up to the event.
