VOX Cinemas, the Middle East’s largest and most innovative cinema exhibitor, proudly hosted the UAE premiere of Restart tonight at VOX Cinemas, Mall of the Emirates. The star-studded movie premiere and red-carpet event was held in the presence of cast members Tamer Hosny, Bassem Samra and Mohamed Tharwat, as well as the film’s director Sara Wafiq, and was attended by over 500 guests including key media personalities and influencers. Restart releases at VOX Cinemas across the UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt and Lebanon on 29 May.

Directed by Sara Wafik and produced by Tamer Hosny’s TH Production, Restart follows the story of Mohamed (Tamer Hosny), a phone technician, and his fiancée Afaf (Hana El Zahed), an aspiring social media influencer. In an attempt to achieve fame, they team up with their family and ‘the Joker’, a notorious agent, but as fame and fortune roll in, they lose sight of what truly matters. Now it’s up to Mohamed to restore family bond and save the love of his life.
