W Dubai – The Palm Celebrates Women In Sport At The Next W Hotel’s What She Said Global Speaker Series
Celebrating femininity and female empowerment, W Hotels’ WHAT SHE SAID global speaker series is set to return to W Dubai – The Palm for its third series, where women in sport will take centre stage on Tuesday21st June.
Moderated by Kelly Lundberg– an author, TEDx Speaker and host of popular top-rated podcast, Under Her Hermès Belt,the fem-centric event will bring together a panel of inspirational women who will share personal stories on how they have defied gender stereotypes and social norms and succeeded in the world of sport.
From driving gender equality, teaching women and girls’ teamwork and self-reliance, to building self-confidence and body positivity, each inspiring woman will discuss the defining moments in their life and how sport empowered them make positive change.
The panel will welcome Raha Moharrak, the first Saudi Arabian woman to summit Everest and the seven highest mountains in each continent, and Amna Al Haddad,an Olympic weightlifter and internationally recognised keynote speaker, sports personality, writer, and mental health advocate. They will also be joined by Amna Al Qubaisi,a professional racing driver and the first Emirati to compete at the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans race in France, claiming two class podiums and IvanaKolaric, an Endurance, Strength and Obstacle Course Racing Coach at Inner Fight and member of the Spartan Pro Racing Team.
Since its debut, WHAT SHE SAID, held across multiple W Hotels globally, has helped propel the conversation around women empowerment. Evolving with every session, each WHAT SHE SAID speaker series event has focused on bringing together powerful, progressive women and providing a platform to share their personal stories, with the aim to inspire and empower the audience in an unfiltered and unique W way.
