After the sold out concert on October 17, 2014 and due to the high demand we are proud to announce another great performance of legendary Jozsef Lendvay and Friends.

Jozsef Lendvay is one of the most outstanding contemporary violinists. Thanks to his virtuoso skills and charisma, he has gained enormous popularity all over the world. Jozsef Lendvay is a laureate in numerous international violin competitions, among them being the Tibor Varga International Violin Competition Sion Valais, Switzerland. In addition, he claimed a high number of prestigious awards and scholarships. His talent and accomplishments were appreciated in 1997 when he received the Gold Cross from the President of the Republic of Hungary.

The ensemble Lendvay and Friends is a unique orchestra comprising its virtuosi musicians who perform folk music as well as classical works from various eras and styles. The ensemble’s repertoire includes gypsy music, folkloric music from various nations and the classical repertoire. Jozsef Lendvay has only ever invited like-minded musicians to join the ensemble who share his passion for music and performance principles. Their combination of virtuoso technique, music humor and unrepressed emotionality, thanks to which the ensemble conveys the mood of any work in an ideal manner, makes each and every appearance by  the ensemble Lendvay and Friends an unforgettable event.
