Bringing wellness to Dubai for the tenth year, the outdoor wellness festival – Yogafest Dubai – is being held from March 18 to 20, 2021 at Dubai Internet City Amphitheatre, the home of Yogafest since its start 10 years ago.

Celebrating all things health and wellness, the festival schedule is packed with educational workshops, inspiring classes, and fascinating talks covering current themes about health and wellness.

Keeping everyone’s health and safety in mind and ensuring COVID-19 safety guidelines are respected; attendees are required to purchase event passes from www.yogafest.me:

18th March – Thursday Pass – AED 50

19th March – Friday Pass – AED 95

20th March – Saturday Pass – AED 95

As the region’s largest wellness event focused on sustainable living, Yogafest Dubai has become the go-to event for community yoga, wellness and health classes, and always in support of children in need.

“It’s amazing to see what started as a one-day event to celebrate the Winter solstice in 2010 still connecting this community of wellness professionals and students ten years later,”  says Yogafest Founder Elaine Kelly. “It’s been an incredibly tough year, people need our support more than ever and we are here to help.”

“Thanks to the support of Dubai Internet City, we have a safe and stable home that provides a tranquil green open space for everyone to enjoy,” added Elaine.

In an effort to provide financial support to underprivileged children over the years, Yogafest Dubai has collected and donated around AED 365,000 to charities like Al Jalila Foundation, Dubai Cares, and Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, amongst others.

Every year, Yogafest supports a children’s charity and this year they have chosen Gulf For Good, a UK registered Charity with a head office in International Humanitarian City.  Celebrating 20 years of giving, Gulf For Good has raised more than $ 4 Million to improve the lives of children around the world in support of 3 Sustainable Development goals: Eradicating Poverty, Quality Education and Health and Well-being.

This year’s festival highlights include sessions on how to prime your immune system and combat Covid-19 through specific breath exercises, shaking,  and sound therapy.  For the adventurous yogis, there are workshops on handstands and backbends. You can also enjoy acro and partner yoga so be sure to bring someone from your bubble to practise with.

There will be a talk on Improving your Sleep with Sleep consultant, Julie Menon and  Hormone Yoga Therapy for Women.

On Saturday 20 March, the Spring Equinox we begin with a special 108 sun salutation morning session at 7:15 am.  It’s a wonderful time to focus on what you want to create in the months ahead and to declutter your home, wardrobe and life.

Families have a dedicated tent and there’s a class for everyone; from Thai Massage for couples to Kids and Laughter yoga.

As an eco-conscious festival, the Marketplace will showcase sustainable fashion and products that are good for everyone and the planet.

Hungry? Attendees can visit the Nourish Zone serving delicious vegetarian meals, snacks, juices and coffees from brands like Spill the Bean, Coco Yogo and Little Erth.  Don’t miss vegan ice cream and popsicles for sale to keep everyone cool throughout the day.
