Spike Tees Up For The Masters
Golf fans gearing up to watch The Masters next week should pay a visit to Spike at Emirates Golf Club. The venue is open for all the action screened live from Augusta National in the USA, with the final round likely to run over in to the early hours of Monday morning. Spike will stay open until the winner is awarded his green jacket, the traditional honour bestowed to the victorious golfer.
With 16 live indoor screens and one giant three-metre mega screen on the outdoor Spike Terrace, golf fans will have a great view to see every drive and every putt.
Emirates Golf Club might just be a lucky charm for players heading to The Masters. The last two winners of the Dubai Desert Classic, which traditionally takes place in February every year at the Middle East’s number one Majlis course, have gone on to win the green jacket at Augusta. Danny Willett won both tournaments in 2016 and Sergio Garcia took the double honours last year. This time round, Haotang Li looks to make it a hat-trick of Classic/Masters double winners.
The Masters takes place from Thursday 5th April to Sunday 8th April in Augusta, USA. With the time difference, in Dubai it will run through to the morning of Monday 9th April.
