Dubai’s iconic landmark Burj Al Arab inspired Instagram artist Paperboyo (aka Rich McCor) to give the modern marvel a Star Wars spin; depicting the Millennium Falcon spaceship – which appears in the recently released Solo: A Star Wars Story – landing on the world’s most luxurious hotel’s helipad.

Rich McCor comments on his work: “I’m a huge fan of both U.A.E architecture and Star Wars, so creating this bespoke artwork here in Dubai was a career highlight for me. Dubai has so many globally recognised landmarks and I enjoyed exploring the architecture – from Bur Dubai to Palm Jumeirah, to Dubai Marina. With such a rich landscape of varied architectural style, I was spoiled for choice as to which buildings to use for the Star Wars shots.”
