La Mer, a world-class beachfront destination by Meraas, is fast gaining a reputation as a preferred hub for homegrown brands in Dubai, with over 15 local brands now offering visitors out-of-the-box experiences.

Tastefully combining mouth-watering flavours and creatively designed interiors, the spectacular culinary fare on offer at the welcoming homegrown restaurants embraces exotic cuisines from around the world. All-day dining restaurant Levee serves up ingredient-led Mediterranean food that is reminiscent of hearty home cooking while casual dining outlet SLAB embodies creativity in contemporary and modern cuisine through its offering of delightful sandwiches, mains and tartines with floral flourishes.

The destination is also home to favourite family friendly smokehouse stop Backyard BBQ that perfectly combines the smokiness of the BBQ with signature spices and sauces to complete the rustic char-grilled experience. Makan Restaurant & Cafe offers a range of modern renditions of classic dishes from the Middle East while Zouzou serves up a fusion of Turkish and Lebanese cuisines. With a menu that allows guests to sample authentic Emirati cuisine with a contemporary twist to traditional recipes, Treej Café is a new-age concept that features a casual, lively and youthful vibe.

The new home-grown brands also aim to introduce exclusive culinary concepts to Dubai’s discerning diners for the first time. HQ’S 459 builds on the belief that breakfast should be a dish served all-day. Dubai’s stylish waterfront café, The Duchess, welcomes diners to its luxurious living room-inspired interiors, and a contemporary monochrome setting reminiscent of the yesteryear classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Diners can enjoy catching up with friends and family as they sample a medley of classic and contemporary delicacies. In addition, charming Provençal café Maison De Juliette brings a French touch to the destination with its artfully curated space and delectable menu.

Meanwhile, the unique fine dining concept Masti offers a reinterpretation of Indian cuisine featuring a modern menu with sophisticated Indian flavours and presentation. Food enthusiasts can also experience Iraqi fine dining at Aghatti, specialising in wood-fired fish or indulge in authentic Lebanese flavours at Ya Meza that brings to Dubai delectable and traditional dishes from Lebanon.

Complementing the diversity of dining concepts and cuisines, La Mer also recently welcomed Hola, the Latin American-inspired fruit bar that recreates the passion of Mexican street fruit vendors and serves up an exotic selection of fruit-based treats. Adventurous diners will love South Korean eatery Mealtop that specialises in the shaved ice dessert concept Bongsoo – so popular in the Far East. Or they can take delight in exploring some exotic ice cream choices such as um ali, black sesame and matcha green tea at IScream.

For the ladies, Neo Noir Beauty Center offers a full range of hair, face, skin and nail grooming services. La Mer’s youngest visitors can explore Little World, the premier children’s educational entertainment facility, and have a great time learning and playing with the family.

Reflecting the unique personality of the destination, La Mer’s eclectic homegrown concepts take Dubai’s residents and tourists on an unforgettable journey of fun and discovery.
