Lola Young, Overmono To Headline Sole DXB 2026 As Festival Enters New Chapter
Sole DXB announces Lola Young and Overmono as headliners for its 2026 festival, taking place from 11-12-13 December at The Square Nad Al Sheba. This year promises a significant shift in Sole DXB’s 14-year history, continuing a broader musical direction, and the festival’s first move to a new location in more than a decade.
Building on its hip-hop roots, the festival embraces a range of genres, bringing some of today’s most compelling international artists to Dubai. Lola Young, the South London-born artist known for her emotionally candid songwriting and rock-influenced pop, headlines Sole DXB on Saturday 12 December, following the international success of her breakout hit “Messy.” The track earned her the 2026 Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance, alongside a nomination for Best New Artist.
Overmono, the British electronic duo comprising brothers Tom and Ed Russell, join the headline lineup set to perform on Friday 11 December, following major performances at Glastonbury and a sold-out show at London’s Alexandra Palace. Known for combining driving electronic rhythms, heavy basslines and emotive melodies, the duo bring their live show to Dubai following the release of their second album, Pure Devotion, in August 2026.
Across the Main Stage, live artist performances include Hajaj, a Saudi singer-songwriter based between Jeddah and London, whose music blends jazz, soul and Arabic influences with introspective songwriting, along with Nia Archives, a British singer, songwriter and producer known for layering jungle and drum and bass with soulful vocals.
On Stage 2, Sole DXB 2026 presents live artists including Malian vocalist and musician Fatoumata Diawara, known for her powerful Bambara-language vocals, New Delhi-based genre-blending band Peter Cat Recording Co., and Egyptian-Lebanese duo Maii and Zeid, merging indie and electronic sounds.
Stage 2 also presents DJs Gia Fu, a Hong Kong-born DJ, music producer, and cultural researcher, known for her deep-rooted work in Afro-Latin music, and Matthew Herbert, a British experimental electronic producer and composer.
Bringing together the community that has grown with Sole DXB over the past 14 years, the festival continues to build on its roots while introducing new experiences and welcoming a wider audience.
Across three days, the programme features performances on four stages, alongside fashion, art, food, experiential retail installations, talks and basketball. Programming runs daily from 4:00pm to 2:30am, with further programme and line-up details to be announced soon.
